Description
For fall protection, the Globestock G-Saver II features a combined rescue winch for raising/lowering the user to safety in the event of a fall. The G-Saver II should be used in Fall Arrest Mode with the winch mechanism disengaged for fall protection. The steel cable pulls out and accelerates to a speed of 1.5m/sec which then triggers the braking system, arresting and cushioning the fall. Once this happens, the winch mechanism can be used to pull the user to safety.
With this recovery block, no extra equipment is needed and the user can be rescued quickly. The G-Saver can be mounted vertically above the user and horizontally with a suitable anchorage point. The fall arrest device is also compatible with the G-tripod.
